von Fuchsbau's Pappenheim Jager

Image

Raised following the experiences of the recent war von Fuchsbau's brigade was almost never formed, Major General von Fuchsbau was captured whilst forming his brigade by the Vandenburg forces of General Kieth.  The good general von Kieth paroled the officers and then under order from King Oskar enlisted the entire brigade into the Vandenburg infantry.

After the peace treaty between the Emperor & King Oskar the General set about rebuilding his brigade from the hardy forest folk & gamekeepers of Pappenheim.

  1. Love the less complicated painting style on these Eureka figures! The faces are much better in this impressionist style than if you had tried to paint in eyeballs and pupils, which just looks strange. Nice work.
