Komondor's Grenadiers

The Archbishop's of Maitz & Bampfberg have combined the grenadiers of their regiments to form a brigade of grenadiers under the command of Colonel Andras Komondor. Currently they are serving under the command of Major General von Silberlowe with the Bampfberg column.

As yet untested the brigade has been extensively drilled by Colonel Komondor and is the equal of the Guards of Enteburg or Kopf-Schlager. Colonel Komandor holds his commision with the Archbishop of Bampfberg and is a close friend of Major General von Farkas.   He rose quickly through the ranks in Imperial service having fought against the Ottomanians in several campaigns on the Skanderberg Frontier.

Regiment Jung Maitz

The second regiment raised by Archbishop Goostave de Ente und Spurhund-Jungen this regiment's personnel where mostly raised from the Archbishops lands in the north of the empire.  The Archbishop was close friends with the previous Emperor and supported his descision to place his daughter on the throne as Empress.  This has left him estranged from the rest of the de Ente und Spurhund-Jungen household.

The regiment has been training furiously under Colonel Alehandro de Valiente el Leon an officer of Alban extraction.  Once an officer within the Alban Guardia de Corps the colonel became close friends with the Archbishop and followed him to the empire upon taking his position as Archbishop.

Regiment Maitz

The senior regiment raised by Archbishop Goostave de Ente und Spurhund-Jungen of Maitz for Imperial service.  The regiment's personnel come from across the empire as the Archbispop controls lands spread through much of the empire.  In the field the regiment is commanded by Colonel Prince Fredick August Holdstein-Braunbar.

As yet the regiment remains untested in battle, however it has a solid core of good officers & NCO's and is expected to do well.  The Archbishop has spared no expenses on training his regiments and they are equal to any unit in Vorlund und Hinterlund's army.
